The Bay Networks Nautica 200 and

Nautica 250 are entry-level, ISDN personal routers that provide remote ofﬁces,

small enterprises, and telecommuters high-speed access to the corporate LAN and

Internet over both TCP/IP and NetWare’s IPX/SPX.

utilize high-speed access without the hassles of conﬁgur-

ing and installing complex routers. Sophisticated router

technology is affordable and accessible with the Nautica

200/250, the ideal personal router for telecommuters,

home ofﬁces, and branch locations using ISDN connec-

tions. No other ISDN personal router is as easy to install

and use.

Easy to Install

Installation and conﬁguration are quick and easy with the

autoloading Win ‘95/98 Nautica Wizard. Connect the hard-

ware, answer a few simple questions for the Wizard, and

you are connected to the Internet or corporate intranet in

minutes. Both the Nautica 200 and the Nautica 250

include:

• One 10Base-T Ethernet connection.

• One ISDN (BRI) connection (either S/T or U interface

for domestic or international installations).

• Two analog voice ports.

• All the cables and connectors are included with the

unit.

• Nautica Wizard and Nautica Watch applications.

Easy to Manage

The Nautica 200 and Nautica 250 also include the Nautica

Watch application that allows users to easily monitor the

status and activity of the ISDN connection. Nautica Watch’s

real-time indications of status allow problems to be correct-

ed before they adversely affect the user. Since Nautica has

HTML support, users can get status information through

any standard Web browser. The Nautica 200 and Nautica

250 also support Network Address Translation (NAT) with

static/dynamic IP addressing.
